The Journey

In December 2003, Clete received a prophetic word from God through Pastor Harold Weitsz, senior pastor at Little Falls Christian Centre.  The prophecy was about the clear evangelistic call on his life.  Up until this time Clete’s life was ruled by the lust of the flesh (using and selling drugs, immorality and gangsterism).  Clete was a professional boxer at the time. When he looks back, he realises that the boxing discipline was a training ground and preparation to be used by God to fight the real fight in the Spirit, to fulfil the great commission.  He is a child of a single parent, Maureen Stevis, who is a true intercessor.  A woman of prayer and faith which He is a product of.

  • The journey of the renewal of the mind started and Clete enrolled at LFCC Bible College in 2004 and completed his Advanced Diploma (a 3 year course) and a counselling course over these three years.  It took a total of seven years of preparation (test and trials) to fully walk in the calling of God for his life.
  • In 2008, Clete and his wife, Luzette, took a step in faith and GOMA was birthed.  Clete was then ordained as a minister in 2011 by Pastor Harold Weitz under the umbrella of Fivefold Ministries International.

  • With a vision and call to see others and communities empowered, Clete co-founded Humanitarian Empowerment Fund (HEF) in 2018. A vehicle that made it’s voice heard during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic by supplying 1000s with food parcels and establishing home vegetable gardens. Matthew 16:15-20

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Luke 4:18-19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
